Proof of the Clark government’s ability to find consensus in a complex environment is the successful negotiation of over 500 agreements with Indigenous communities. These included revenue sharing, LNG resource benefit, and reconciliation agreements. This work was driven by a deep commitment to seek reconciliation with Indigenous peoples. It also reflects Clark’s belief that healthy, self-determining communities must have the capacity to produce and direct their own wealth.
